History:

Motivation for this organization came out of the Christian broadcasts of Radio ZP-30. As contacts were made with listeners in outlying regions of the Chaco, their struggle for survival demanded attention.

Numerous private initiatives already assisted various marginalized communities in practical ways to help them become self-sustaining.

ASEC now organizes and furthers these volunteer projects and coordinates any financial assistance from local and foreign groups.

ASEC assists communities where no other assistance is available and only at the request of those inhabitants.

What began as private initiatives has grown into a network of many volunteers and a systematic approach for self-help.

Goals:

To educate the marginalized population to take charge of their own future and manage their resources in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.

Develop long-term projects to enable them to earn a living on a consistent basis.

Develop income opportunities for women to help supplement family income.

Work with local governments to develop strategies to improve the livelihood of these inhabitants.

Projects:

Fund small business such as:

Agriculture

Charcoal production

Industry, such as brick production

Build a brick plant.

Provide scholarships.

ASEC is committed to lending a helping hand to individuals and communities, helping them to put dignity and self-worth back into their lives. We are committed to being transparent, honest and have a servant heart as the Lord has commanded us.
